About this gig
Your input PDF document (up to 250 pages) is converted to MS Word format as detailed below:
- Your normal editable PDF document is converted to Word format using Acrobat Pro software
- In case of scanned image files, text is regenerated using built-in OCR feature of Acrobat Pro software first and then file is saved in Word format
- Converted MS Word document is further edited/formatted to match with input PDF file.
- Final Word document is compared with original file to eliminate conversion, editing and typographical errors.
Note:
- For scanned image documents, please ensure minimum scanning resolution of 150 dpi (220 dpi or more is recommended for optimum OCR results).
- For more than 250 pages, please contact me for a customised pricing.

What is the scanning resolution required for image PDF documents?
Minimum resolution required for readability or for running OCR for recovering text is 150 dpi. But, 220 dpi or more is recommended for getting optimum OCR results.
What is the expansion of OCR and why it is required?
OCR means "Optical Character Recognition". OCR is used for recovering or regenerating text contents from scanned image PDF documents.
