I will tutor in maths, physics, chemistry at gcse and elementary level

1st Lesson (free of charge):

Getting to know each other, what to work on and a learning style quiz, i.e. visual, auditory, analytical etc.

From then on:

Lesson Plans will be sent to student two days before so they can have a look through the problems and maybe attempt some if they are able, no pressure at all though.

In the session, I will work through a problem sheet with the student. The first problem I will do with clear steps and reasoning. The second problem the student will do with the aid of the steps. From then on I will supervise the student and answer any of their questions. The student will then try to explain the topic to me. Essentially, my lessons will be delivered on a watch, do, teach basis in line with their learning style.

However, I am very adaptable, if this method does not work for the student I will modify it according to their strengths. For example if they understand things better with colour coding, by watching a video, or even playing a game I can find/create resources for this to best accommodate their needs.

If the student requires additional time or lessons I will be happy to offer these as everyone learns at a different pace.
