FAQ
Do you record video as well?
Yes! Just make sure to select the 'Record Video' extra option after selecting your package. I use my iPhone 15 to record video. The footage is synced with the audio and delivered in Full HD MP4 format along with the isolated audio files.
Which audio files do you deliver?
Two 44.1kHz, 24-bit WAV files for the isolated bass track, one of which has my custom plugin chain - the other one is the unprocessed/dry DI signal. Also, one MP3 file for the full playthrough along with your track. If you need any other format/sample rate/bit depth, I can send it free of charge!
How do you record your bass tracks?
My signal flow goes: Bass > Pedalboard (when needed) > Audio Interface (Universal Audio Apollo X4) > DAW (Logic Pro X). If needed, I use amp simulation with plugins.
Which basses do you have?
- Sandberg California VM5 (5 strings, P-Style/MM humbucker pickups for modern styles) - Sandberg Lionel VS (4 string short scale P-Style with flats for vintage tones) - Carvin SB4001 (4 strings, Jazz-Style single coils) - Custom Fretless Ibanez SR535 (5-string) Feel free to specify any!
Which effects can you use?
When needed, my pedalboard consists of the following: COG Effects T16 Octaver / Line 6 HX Stomp / Darkglass ADAM Preamp/Distortion. I can also add effects in-the-box with plugins (NeuralDSP, UAD, Waves, ValhallaDSP, SoundToys etc).
Do you play pre-composed basslines or create them from scratch?
Both! Just specify how much or how little of my own creative input you want to be present. I can re-record something you already did, play your MIDI bass, read your sheet music or come up with something 100% original.
Do I need to provide sheets/tabs/scores ?
If you have them, feel free to send me! If not, I have no problems learning songs by ear.
Are there any discounts for multiple songs?
Unfortunately not.
Can you make sheets/tabs/MIDI files for your recorded bassline?
Unfortunately, I do not provide sheets, tabs or MIDI files for my basslines. My service is restricted to the recording of the bass guitar track itself.
Can you teach me?
Unfortunately, I don't offer online bass lessons on Fiverr, but if you need help learning a line/solo/etc, I can learn and record it with video in slow speed for you (prices are determined by the slowed-down version's length + 'video record' extra fee).
