I always recommend starting with a search (basic gig $35) to check the availability of your proposed mark unless you have already conducted a search and are quite sure about its distinctiveness.
Is a trademark search essential?
Although a trademark search is optional, it is highly recommended to conduct pre-filing searches to determine whether any third party(s) has applied for or registered a mark identical or similar to the one you plan to register, and you aren’t infringing on another business’s trademark.
Can I hire you without messaging you first?
Please do not order standard or premium gigs without messaging me first UNLESS you have already conducted a search and are quite sure about the distinctiveness of your proposed mark. If you hire me without my consent, I will assume your trademark is ready to be filed.
How long does It take to register a trademark?
It depends on the country. In Uzbekistan it takes around 5-7 moths. However, your trademark is protected from the filing date if successfully registered.
What If I am uncertain under which classes my goods or services would fall?

What is the difference between a USE BASED or INTENT TO USE trademark application?
If your application is based on "use in commerce," you must be using the trademark in commerce for all the goods and/or services listed in your application. If your application is based on a "bona fide intent to use the trademark," you must have good faith or bona fide intent to use the trademark.
What is the filling fee/official fee/government fee and who pays the filling fee?
The filing fee is different for different countries. You have to pay the official fee yourself, and I will guide you. Uzbekistan, ordinary: 510k soums add class 170k to each additional class, for certificate 1.156.000 soums to each add class 170.000 soums, rapid consideration: 2.720.000 min.
Do I have to be a citizen or live in a particular country to apply for trademark registration?

These days, Amazon allows you into their Brand Registry before your trademark application is even accepted/pending. Previously they allowed only registered trademark owners to get into Brand Registry. However, it is not guaranteed that Amazon will approve the early Brand Registry request.
