I did App Store Optimization (ASO) for hundreds of Android and iOS apps. Those were various types of apps, and each of them had improved after the implementation of my ASO work. 

A lot of them had a significant improvement in rankings and downloads, and some of them had very high jumps in downloads, such as moving from 2k to 45k monthly installs.
