How do you deliver your feedback?
I send everything as a document you can download and keep. Depending on your package, that includes my ch-by-ch notes, a reader response report, and any proofreading flags I caught along the way. I'll also include a short personal note at the top summarizing my biggest takeaways so you'll know.
Do you read explicit content?
I read most genres and content levels, but please message me before ordering if your manuscript contains graphic violence or explicit sexual content so we can make sure I am the right fit for your book.
What file format should I send my manuscript in?
Word documents work best, but I can also work with Google Docs or PDF. If you are not sure, just send what you have and we will figure it out.
What if my manuscript is longer than the word count in my package?
No problem. You can add additional words as an extra when you place your order, or message me first and I will put together a custom offer that fits your full manuscript.
I've never worked with a beta reader before. What should I expect?
Beta reading is not editing. I read your book like a real reader and tell you honestly what worked, what confused me, and what kept me turning pages. Most writers find it eye-opening, even when some of it stings.
