What is retopology?
Its a process where a sculpted 3d model with good details gets converted into low poly model while retaining high poly details.
What is the difference between remeshing and retopology
There is no big difference between remeshing and retopology both of them are distinct process but end result is same, remeshing and retopology are used to convert high poly 3d model into low poly model.
Can a low poly character be realistic?
Low poly characters are difficult to make them realistic, polycount especially play a lot more difference, Good or high poly count can be used to make realistic characters.
Does game engines have different requirement?
Game Engines like Unity, Roblox and Unreal Engine all of them have Realtime rendered environment which uses diffused textures and light baking, there are limitations to these engines and they process characters differently then Modelling software.
