Do you offer formatting of documents?
Yes! And by formatting, I mean taking care of your text alignment, indent, paragraph styles, line spacing, bullets & numbering, headers & footers, page numbers & orientation etc. Check my gig extras to avail this service.
Do you sign NDA's?
Yes, I can if you want, but I can guarantee your content's confidentiality by deleting it after the completion of your order.
What will I receive upon my order completion?
You will receive two documents, one with visible changes (so you can compare the difference) & the other one with all these changes accepted and incorporated (clean copy).
Can I send a pdf file?
Yes, You can! Your pdf file will be first converted to a doc file and then I will work upon it. If you want, I can later change it back into pdf after editing.
Do you keep track of your edits?
Yes! I use track changes in MS Word or suggested edits in Google Docs.
What type of files I can send for copy editing?
You can send any type of content as a Doc file. Documents you can send are: articles & blogs, website content & manuals, research papers, theses, dissertations, books & whitepaper content, eBooks, transcripts, and many more!
Do you edit novels or content longer than 20,000 words?
Yes, I do! I have a separate gig for novel editing if it belongs to the fiction or thriller genre (because I love this genre! LOL). Feel free to use that gig, or just contact me to discuss your novel or content longer than 20,000 words. I will be happy to give you a custom offer!
Can you reduce my total word count?
Yes, your word count may reduce as a result of eliminating duplications & repetitions, but it is not a specific service. It comes along with proofreading & line editing. You are welcome to contact me if you specifically want this service.
Do you provide services for translation into English?
As far as the content is in URDU, Yes, I can translate it to English (as I am a native Urdu speaker). But for other languages, NO! However, I can take a translated document and proofread it.
Can I send Transcripts for proofreading?
Yes, You can, along with their source. I already included this in my packages. But for your convenience, I can mention the price here. I'll charge $10 for transcripts of 20 min length, and $30 of 60 min. If your transcript file is longer than 60 min, you can msg me so I can adjust pricing for you.
