I will migrate your n8n cloud workflows to a self hosted vps with docker

About this gig

n8n Cloud bills you per execution. Self-hosting on a $5 to $10 VPS removes that ceiling entirely, and your workflow data stops leaving your infrastructure. The catch is that a bad migration loses credentials, breaks webhook URLs, and silently stops your schedules.

I do the move properly.

WHAT YOU GET

A clean n8n install on your VPS: Docker, HTTPS with an auto-renewing certificate, and a reverse proxy set up correctly so webhooks resolve to your real domain rather than localhost.

Every workflow exported, imported, and opened to confirm it runs.

Credentials re-entered by hand, because n8n exports do not carry them.

On Standard and Premium, PostgreSQL instead of the default SQLite, which is what n8n recommends for anything beyond light use.

On Premium, your old instance kept running in parallel until you confirm the new one is good, plus a written rollback plan.

WHAT I NEED

Your n8n Cloud login or an export of your workflows, a VPS (I can advise on sizing), and a domain or subdomain pointed at it.

I run this exact stack in production, so the failure modes are familiar rather than theoretical.

Unsure how many workflows you have or which package fits? Message me first.

I build and deploy n8n automation systems — including self-hosted instances on your own server, which is where most teams get stuck after leaving n8n Cloud. I run production n8n in Docker behind Caddy with TLS, and build the workflows on top: document processing, AI steps via the Claude API, and Google Workspace pipelines. Background in chemical engineering and manufacturing, so I understand the messy real-world processes behind the automation, not just the tooling.
