About this Gig
I'm a writer and editor with over 10 years of experience across publishing, lifestyle media and content. My work involves shaping ideas, refining copy and making sure the writing says what it needs to say.
I can help with:
- Proofreading: Correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation and typos.
- Copy editing: Improving clarity, sentence structure, consistency and flow.
- Line editing: Refining language, tone and style while preserving your voice.
- Light rewriting: Reworking awkward passages without losing your intended meaning.
I work with articles, blog posts, essays, website content, personal writing and short fiction.
My approach is simple: I'll respect your voice, pay attention to the details and make changes where they genuinely improve the writing. I'm not here to make your work sound like someone else's.
Please choose the package that best suits your needs and send your document in an editable format. If you're unsure which level of editing you need, feel free to message me before ordering.
For full manuscripts, developmental editing or extensive rewriting, please get in touch first to discuss the scope.

I had an article that Shihaam proofread and edited effectively to bring out the message I wanted to share with my audience. Communication with her was precise and easy. I picked the fast delivery option and she delivered the work as promised. I was really pleased with how she brought out the article's key points.
