What do you need from me to start?
Your website URL or app build (TestFlight / APK / store link), test account access if needed, and any focus areas — e.g., "we just rewrote checkout". That's it. I'll handle the rest.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, happy to sign before you share anything. Confidentiality is standard practice from my QA career at Japan's largest testing firm.
What devices and browsers do you test on?
Windows 11 PC (Chrome, Edge, Firefox), iPhone SE 2nd gen (iOS/Safari), and Motorola Razr 60 Ultra — a foldable Android. Foldable coverage catches layout bugs most testers never see.
Can you test payment flows?
Yes — it's one of my specialties. I can test with Japanese payment methods (credit cards, PayPay, convenience-store payments, carrier billing) in sandbox or real environments with agreed refund handling.
What format is the bug report?
Your choice: Google Sheets / Docs, Notion, Markdown, or directly into your tracker (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues). Each bug has repro steps, severity, expected vs actual, and evidence.
Can you test Japanese apps or sites?
Yes, natively — I'm a Japanese QA engineer. I also catch Japan-specific issues: zenkaku/hankaku input, date formats, address forms, and payment UX that overseas testers miss.
How fast can you start?
Usually within 24-48 hours of order confirmation. If you have a release deadline, message me first and I'll confirm availability before you order.
What if you don't find any bugs?
You still get full value: an honest report of everything I tested, how I tested it, and what looks solid — plus any usability observations. Knowing what works is as valuable as knowing what doesn't.
Do you retest after my developers fix the bugs?
One retest round is included in the Premium package. For Basic/Standard, retesting is available as a gig extra or follow-up order.
How do we communicate?
Async and text-first, in English or Japanese. I'm based in Japan (JST / UTC+9) and reply within a few hours during JST daytime and evenings. Clear written updates, no meetings needed.
