What do you need from me before testing begins?
Please provide the website URL, pages or workflows to test, expected behavior, preferred browsers and any known concerns. If login is required, provide a temporary test account.
What will be included in the bug report?
Each documented issue can include severity, page URL, browser or device, steps to reproduce, expected and actual results, and supporting screenshots or recordings.
Which browsers and devices can you test?
I can manually test on a Windows PC using Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge, and on an Android phone using Chrome. Contact me before ordering if another device is required.
Do you test login, registration and checkout flows?
Yes, when suitable temporary accounts, test data and sandbox payment details are provided. Please do not send personal passwords or real payment-card information.
Will you fix the bugs you find?
This Gig covers testing and reporting. Development and bug fixing are not included, but the report will provide clear information your development team can use.
Does a revision include retesting after bug fixes?
A revision covers corrections or clarification to the delivered report. Testing the website again after code changes is a separate retesting service.
Do you provide security or performance testing?
This Gig does not include penetration, vulnerability, load or stress testing. It focuses on functional, usability, responsive and browser-compatibility testing.
