About this gig
Moving from PrestaShop to Shopify without losing your data or your Google rankings?
I migrate PrestaShop stores (1.5-9.x) to Shopify through the Shopify API not fragile CSV exports. Every product arrives with its variants and options intact, correct prices and sale prices, stock levels, images (including per-variant images), SEO meta titles and descriptions.
WHAT YOU GET
- Products with all combinations mapped to Shopify variants
- Categories rebuilt as collections, with products assigned
- Customers with addresses marketing consent handled safely (no one is subscribed without consent)
- Order history imported as reference records
- CMS pages, brands as vendors 301 redirect map from every old URL to its new handle, so your SEO survives the switch
- Field-mapping documentation and a full exceptions report you see exactly what moved and how

FAQ
Will my customers keep their passwords?
No — this is a platform limitation, not a choice. PrestaShop stores passwords in a form Shopify cannot accept. Your customers keep their accounts and history but reset their password on first login.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
No - Every old product, category and page URL gets a 301 redirect to its new Shopify address, which preserves link equity. A brief ranking fluctuation after any platform change is normal; permanent loss from broken URLs is what the redirect map prevents.
Can you migrate my blog?
Yes (Premium) — tell me which blog module you use, since data structures differ between modules.
Do you migrate the theme/design too?
No — Shopify themes are a different technology, so design is rebuilt, not migrated. I migrate all data and can coordinate handles/collections with your theme developer so neither of us blocks the other.
