About this gig

Check your existing SRT files before handing them to an editor or client.

I use SRT Audit, an offline technical checker, and review the results to deliver:

- HTML and JSON reports covering up to 5 UTF-8 SRT files, up to 2,000 cues total and 5 MiB per file

- A plain-English summary of key findings, with cue references and suggested next checks

- One report correction or clarification round for the same submitted files

Checks cover numbering, timestamp format, zero or negative durations, overlaps, empty text, line and cue length, line count, and characters per second. The report states the thresholds used; warnings need context and are not automatic failures.

This is an audit-only service. I do not transcribe, translate, listen to audio, check meaning, synchronize subtitles to video, or edit your text or timing. A clean report does not guarantee platform acceptance.

My gallery uses an original, self-initiated synthetic example, not a client project.

I offer scoped help with app and website updates, workflow automation, and presentation formatting. My workflow uses AI-assisted tools followed by checks against the agreed requirements, including slide-by-slide layout and content reviews for presentations. I focus on editable deliverables, clear handover notes, and stating limitations before work begins. My portfolio examples are self-initiated demos using synthetic content.
