What software will be used?
I use FreeCAD to create your industrial designs. FreeCAD is a powerful and open-source software, offering great flexibility and a robust set of tools for precise and professional designs.
What elements are needed?
To start your project, a detailed sketch of what you want to create would be helpful but not essential. You can also include additional details such as the intended use of the object to be designed or the raw materials you have available. Photos can also be useful to better understand your needs.
Which file formats should I request?
I can deliver STEP or IGES files. I can also provide PDF technical drawings and, if needed, the FreeCAD source file.
What if I want to modify the 3D model?
If you want to modify the 3D model, I recommend requesting the source files as an option. With these source files, you can use FreeCAD to make your modifications. FreeCAD is open-source and free software that allows great flexibility in editing 3D models.
Why do I need to contact you before placing an order?
Each project is unique and requires validation of technical constraints. Contacting me first allows me to define the scope clearly and provide an accurate custom offer.
Are the light wooden structures certified for structural strength and load resistance?
I do not perform structural calculations and I do not certify the structure's resistance to specific climatic and environmental conditions.
