3. Backup first, then I read the error log and trace the cause
4. I fix it, test the pages that were failing, and send a short note on what was wrong and what changed
WHAT I NEED
WordPress admin login if it still works, and hosting, cPanel or FTP access. When the admin is down, hosting access is the only way in.
If the cause is the hosting itself (server down, expired plan), I tell you straight away so you do not pay for something only your host can fix.

How fast can you fix it?
Most single errors are fixed within the delivery time of the Basic package. If the cause turns out to be bigger, I tell you before doing any extra work.
I cannot log in to wp-admin. Can you still help?
Yes. With hosting, cPanel or FTP access I can read the error log and disable the plugin or theme that is causing the crash.
Will I lose content or orders?
I take a backup of files and database before changing anything. Fixing an error does not remove content.
What if the problem is my hosting?
I will tell you as soon as I see it, with the details to pass to your host. I do not charge for work I cannot do.
Should I message you before ordering?
Yes please. Send the URL and the error so I can confirm the right package.
Do you explain what went wrong?
Yes. Every delivery includes a short note: the cause, what I changed, and how to avoid a repeat.
Is malware removal included?
No. If I find malware while tracing the error, I stop, tell you what I found, and offer a separate quote for the cleanup.
Do you work on a staging copy?
When your host provides staging, yes. Otherwise I work on the live site after a full backup of files and database, one change at a time.
