I will professionally format your screenplay to industry standards
About this Gig
I will professionally format your screenplay according to standard film and TV specifications (12pt Courier font, 1-inch margins, correct spacing, sluglines, and dialogue alignment).
During formatting, I'll also correct minor technical errors to bring your script in line with professional formatting norms for example:
- Adjusting action lines to the present tense
- Properly capitalizing character names and scene headings
- Fixing spacing, indentation, and transitions
Please note: this service does not include rewriting, dialogue improvement, pacing adjustments, or structural editing. Those are covered under a script polish or rewrite package.
The final page count will depend on the formatted screenplay itself, as proper formatting may expand or reduce the script length.
You'll receive your screenplay in a PDF format, ready for submission or registration.

FAQ
What is the best fit for these package services?
If you are a filmmaker or write scripts without an understanding of screenplay format and want your COMPLETED, FINISHED draft to be professionally formatted so that it looks like an industry-standard screenplay, these services are for you. I accept both handwritten and typed material.
My script is under 120 pages. Does it qualify?
No. Typed scripts on a word processor usually become longer when formatted into industry-standard screenplays. Handwritten documents are just the opposite. In both cases, the final page count determined by the finished, formatted screenplay determines the price.
What's the difference between a spec screenplay and shooting script?
Most screenplays are written on the speculation that they will be sold and made into films. So unless you are planning to make a film for which you've written a script, screenplays are only upgraded to shooting scripts when they are sold and move into production.
Are shorts spec scripts or shooting scripts?
Usually both, because most short scripts are not sold unless commissioned, and writers who write short scripts often manage to get them made by themselves or their filmmaking peers. As with standard and premium services, I will leave the shots, directions, etc. in the spec screenplay unless stated.
