Most "fractional controller" listings on Fiverr are advisory calls. This is different I actually do the close: reconciliation, adjusting entries, financial statements, variance analysis real accounting work, not just talk.
I sit between your bookkeeper and your CPA, turning messy or incomplete books into a properly closed month reconciled accounts, corrected entries, a P&L and Balance Sheet you can rely on.
Each cycle you get: full month-end close (every bank/card account reconciled), a reviewed P&L and Balance Sheet, variance commentary on what moved and why, and a short summary flagging anything that needs your attention.
QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor, Xero Certified (L2). 17+ years finance experience, including 12+ years in corporate insurance reporting to CFO/CEO leadership.
Best fit: a business with a bookkeeper in place but no senior review, or between controllers needing coverage without a full-time hire.

FAQ
What file formats will I receive?
Your books stay live in QuickBooks Online or Xero — no static file to re-enter. Basic: a PDF summary of the reconciliation and close. Standard: same PDF plus variance commentary on what moved and why. Premium: adds a full Excel workbook with the balance-sheet review and forecast.
What do you need from me to get started?
Bank and credit card statements for the period (PDF or CSV) and access to your accounting file — either an export or the invite below. The more current your data, the faster I can start.
Do you need login access to my QuickBooks/Xero account?
No — I never ask for your login credentials. By default I work from the exports you send. If in-file correction is genuinely needed, I'll ask for QuickBooks Online's Accountant-user invite or Xero's Adviser invite instead — both let me work directly without your password, revocable by you anytime.
How many revisions are included?
Basic 1 round, Standard 2, Premium 3. Extra rounds are $20 each, though most engagements don't need one since scope is confirmed upfront.
What if my books turn out messier than the package covers?
I'll flag it before doing any extra work — you'll know the situation and any price change up front, never as a surprise invoice.
What if I have more than one business or entity?
Each package is scoped for one entity's books — a second entity is effectively a second full close, not a minor add-on, so it isn't priced as a flat extra. Message me before ordering and I'll quote it properly for your situation.
Do you handle tax filing or audits?
No — accounting and close work only: reconciliation, adjusting entries, financial reporting. Not tax preparation, audit, or attest services.
Can this become an ongoing monthly service?
Yes. After your first Premium close, I'll send a custom monthly offer for ongoing support, priced once I've seen your books.
