About this Gig
Vetted Pro
I treat a migration as more than moving files or records it's moving everything a firm runs on.
Matters, contacts, and bills all carry links to each other and a migration is only done when every one of those links survives the move.
I migrate legal practice data between MyCase, Clio, and other systems, in either direction. Every object is mapped, validated, and reconciled against the source before it counts as migrated.
What I work with:
- Matters and contacts with their full relationships intact
- Documents and folders, hierarchy preserved
- Invoices, bills, time and expense entries tied to the right matters
- Notes, tasks, calendar entries, and communications
Every migration is fully logged: what was read, what was written, what was changed, and why. You can verify that every object moved and trace any single record back to its source.
Recent project: about 2K matters, 28K+ documents, and 1K invoices migrated from MyCase to Clio for a US law firm. Every record reconciled.
Tools: Clio API, MyCase API, Python, and custom bots for anything a system won't expose through its API.
Send your object types, record volume, and the systems involved. I'll come back with a scope.

Clients I’ve worked with
Autoplicity
Since May 2020, I have worked with Autoplicity as a business intelligence, database, and dashboard developer. I introduced Microsoft Power BI, integrated data from databases, file storage, and external systems, and built sales, financial, and operational dashboards. I also trained the client’s team to use these dashboards. The result was a reporting layer used daily by executives, managers.

FAQ
Which systems and directions do you handle?
MyCase and Clio in either direction, and migrations to or from other legal practice systems. The approach is the same: map every object, validate it, reconcile against the source.
Can you migrate everything, or just documents?
Everything a practice runs on — matters, contacts, documents, folders, invoices, bills, time and expense entries, notes, tasks, calendar entries, and communications. The Premium package covers a full migration; Standard covers documents and invoices.
How do I know nothing was lost?
Every migration is fully logged — what was read, what was written, what was changed, and why. You can trace any single record back to its source and confirm it moved. Nothing is skipped silently.
Why does this cost more than a $200 migration gig?
A $200 migration is a CSV upload with no validation. This is an engineering process: object mapping, duplicate detection, reconciliation, and a full audit log. The cost is what prevents weeks of cleanup later.
How do you prevent duplicates?
Each record is matched against the destination before it's written — for documents, by matter, folder, and filename. If it already exists, it's skipped and logged. Re-runs are safe.
Can you run a test before the full migration?
Yes. The Basic package is a discovery and test phase: I map the objects and validate the approach on a sample before any full migration runs.
Do I need to share my admin password?
No. I work through API tokens or limited-permission accounts. Credentials are kept in industrial-grade password management, never on local drives or shared clouds.
Don't see your case here?
Send a message with your systems and what needs to move. I'll come back with a straight answer.
