About this Gig
Hey there! My name is Sarah, your passionate, driven, and meticulous beta reader and critique partner.
I have been creatively writing for over ten years and have published short works of my own. I am an avid reader and dedicated writer who loves to read novels, short stories, and novellas. I prefer romance, fantasy, and thrillers, but I will avidly absorb whatever genre you put in front of me.
As a reader and a writer, I know that putting your manuscript out there for critiquing is a vulnerable and difficult step. But I'm here to help you grow by providing in-depth feedback and support so your writing can be the best it is and one-step closer to publication.
I will provide in-line comments, and a 1-2 page reader report that will summarize my thoughts and suggestions for your creative piece. I work closely with all my clients and I am always available for additional advice and editing afterward.

FAQ
How do you provide feedback?
I provide in-text comments, suggestions, and notes. In addition, I will provide you a reader report that will summarize my critique and go over: voice, flow, timing, setting, character descriptions and development, plot advancement, dialogue, and ease of reading.
Do you beta read non-fiction?
I do not at this moment in time, as I don't have expertise in this field.
What if I have questions after receiving the critiqued copy of the manuscript and the reader report?
Always reach out with any questions you have! I try to compile my report and feedback as clearly as possible, but if you need clarification at all or just want to dive a little deeper into any part of my review, just shoot me a message.
Do you offer any follow-up services after beta reading?
Yes! Beta reading is a great service to start with to get a fresh set of eyes on your piece of writing. It will give you an idea of areas that may need some work, how overall themes and flow are working, and more. Once you have this information, you can move into editing - which I also offer.
