What's the difference between EC2 and Lightsail — which should I use?
Lightsail is simpler and more affordable for straightforward websites and small apps. EC2 gives you more control, flexibility, and scalability for complex or high-traffic applications.
Do I need to already have an instance running?
No. I can launch and configure your instance from scratch, or work with an existing one if you already have it set up.
What type of applications can you deploy on the server?
Node.js, Next.js, React (SSR), PHP/Laravel, WordPress, Python/Django/Flask, and Docker containers. Just mention your stack when ordering.
Will my server be secure after setup?
Yes. I configure security groups, SSH key-only access, UFW firewall rules, and disable unnecessary services as standard practice — not optional extras.
Can you migrate my existing website or app from another host?
Yes, migration is available under the Standard and Premium packages. Share your current hosting details when you order and I'll factor it into the timeline.
What happens if something breaks after you deliver?
Standard and Premium packages include post-delivery support for exactly this reason. I'll troubleshoot and fix any issues related to my setup within the support window.
Do you provide server monitoring or backups?
I can set up CloudWatch monitoring and automated S3 backups as part of the Premium package or as a paid gig extra on any tier.
