As a lifelong bookworm, librarian, and freelance book editor, I've devoted countless hours to reading (devouring) novels, editing for publishing houses, fine-tuning my skills by earning my BA in English, and reading articles to stay on top of current publishing trends.

I believe that the core of any partnership is collaboration. What that means is that I aim to cultivate long-term relationships with authors. I don't just want to read your book but be a sounding board and cheerleader, all while lending you my editor's eye. When reading your book, I'll prioritize your voice and your concerns.

In addition to providing in-text feedback of my first impressions, I will write you a reader's report that not only covers general feedback and critique, but answers specific questions you have about your writing. Before reading, I take the time to develop a thorough understanding of what areas you'd like me to focus on, what tone you're hoping comes across in your writing, what themes you want the readers to grasp, etc. At any point during the process, please feel free to check-in and ask questions!
