WHO are you and WHY should I TRUST you?
My name's Joe & I'm a professional session drummer from the UK. I've been playing drums for almost 20 years and have a degree in Professional Musicianship. I now have over 15 years professional playing experience including numerous live tours & recording tracks that have been played on BBC Radio 1.
How long will it take to complete my order?
Generally 3 - 5 days, although often less. However, there are sometimes delays in communication due to timezone differences so please allow up to 7 days just in case (very unlikely!)
What CAN'T you do?
If you're looking for the hyper processed modern metal sound with loads of double kick, this isn't the right gig for you!
I don't understand some of the words in the description!
Raw/Dry: No effects or processing has been added. Mixed/Wet: Effects like EQ, compression, reverb have been added. Stems/multitracks: STEM is a grouping of instruments together (i.e drums) but most clients use it to mean MULTITRACKS which is the separate audio file each of individual microphone.
I have a few tracks I'd like drums on. Do you do a discount for bulk orders?
Yes! If you have multiple songs you'd like me to record drums for, let me know and I will send a custom offer at a discounted rate.
The Basic, Standard, or Premium Packages aren't quite what I'm looking for. What do I do?
Send me a message as we can usually find some sort of discount/customisation etc based on the needs of your individual project.
What Gig Extras do you provide?
- I can add tambourine, shaker, or other percussion overdub to add further depth and textures to the arrangment. - Add an extra room mic or another close microphone - Include a MIDI file of all the drum hits for triggering effects & layering additional sounds - Film a Full HD video of me recording.
Which software/DAW do you use?
Mainly Logic Pro, sometimes Ableton. As well as sending MIDI and audio, I'm happy to send my project files for you to use.
What do you need from me to get started?
1. A drumless .wav or .mp3 of your track. 2. Click tempo/bpm 3. Song references or demos that highlight the drumming or drum sounds you're after. Any extras such as individual instrument tracks, information about the song or structure aren't necessary but always appreciated!
Do I need to credit you when I upload my song?
You can if you'd like to but there's no obligation to do so :-) However, I do enjoy it when clients share the finished product with me!
