I will be a beta reader on your novel or short story

Are you looking for an honest, impartial opinion on your novel before you put yourself out there? I can help.

So you've finished your novel (congratulations by the way), your mum loves it, your partner adores it and your best friends are proud of you. Even you next door neighbour's sister's dog-walker thinks it is good. You feel good but know that all that praise is great but you want another impartial opinion. Someone who is experienced and can provide their honest opinion without you breaking the bank.

My name is Rob Donovan and I am an author and avid reader. Before publishing my first novel in 2012 I ran a successful book review site where I reviewed over 200 books and regularly participated in critique sites.

I know all to well the hard work, sweat and tears that goes into writing a novel and also how invaluable an impartial opinion can be. I want to give back to all those that were in my position 13 years ago by helping in any way I can.

I will read you novel thoroughly and provide a detailed book report offering opinion and advice on:

Characterisation

Dialogue

Plot

Pacing

Setting

Before providing an overall opinion on the book.

Please get in touch to discuss.
