About this Gig
A clash between your HVAC ductwork and a structural beam costs far less to
fix in Navisworks than on site. I model Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing
systems in Revit to LOD 300 standards and run full interference coordination
in Navisworks Manage delivering a clean .nwd file and an itemized clash
report before your subcontractors pick up tools.
I work across single-trade layouts (HVAC only, electrical only, or plumbing
only) and full multi-trade MEP coordination, including slope verification
for gravity drainage lines and clearance checks around isolation valves.
Revit MEP models at LOD 300 across all trades
Navisworks Manage clash matrix with severity groupings
Itemized clash report with resolution guidance
Native .rvt + .nwd files included no unlock fees
.ifc export for coordination with external consultants
WHO ORDERS THIS
MEP subcontractors, VDC managers, commercial general contractors, and
project leads who need verified trade coordination before breaking ground.

FAQ
Do you need the architectural and structural model before starting?
Yes — for coordination and clash detection, I need the Revit architectural and structural models as a base. If you only have 2D drawings, I can first build the architectural model as a separate order, then run the MEP modeling and clash coordination on top of it.
What does your clash detection report include?
The report is produced in Navisworks Manage and includes: total clash count by trade pair (e.g., HVAC vs. structure, plumbing vs. electrical), severity classification (critical, major, minor), location reference for each clash, and a resolution recommendation. The .nwd file is also delivered so your
Can you model MEP from scratch or only coordinate existing models?
Both. If you have MEP design drawings (schematics, riser diagrams, single- line layouts), I build the Revit MEP model from those drawings. If you already have a partial Revit MEP model that needs completing or checking, I can take over and run the coordination from where your team left off.
What software do you use for clash detection?
Navisworks Manage — the industry standard for multi-discipline BIM coordination. I do not use free viewer tools or Clash Detective alternatives. The clash output is a genuine .nwd file with a structured interference report.
Do you cover all MEP trades or only some?
I cover Mechanical (HVAC ductwork, air handling, fan coil units), Electrical (cable trays, distribution boards, lighting layouts), and Plumbing (supply, drainage, gravity slope verification, sanitary stacks). Fire suppression and BMS cabling are available as additional scope extras.
Is the Navisworks .nwd file included in the base packages?
The .nwd file is included in Standard and Premium. The Basic package delivers a single-trade Revit model only. If you need the .nwd from a Basic order, add the ".ifc export" extra or upgrade to Standard.
Can you present findings in a coordination review format?
Yes. If you run weekly BIM coordination meetings with subcontractors, I can prepare a written issue log summary — organized by trade, by zone, and by priority — that you can distribute directly in your coordination sessions. This is available as a gig extra.
