About this Gig
Professional Book Editing & Proofreading That Gets Your Manuscript Publication-Ready.
Your manuscript deserves more than a spell-check. I provide professional book editing and proofreading services for authors, self-published writers, students, and businesses, polishing your work into a clean, engaging, publication-ready manuscript while keeping your unique voice intact.
With hands-on experience across developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading, I help authors turn a rough draft into a manuscript that reads smoothly and holds a reader's attention from page one.
What I'll fix:
- Grammar, punctuation & spelling
- Sentence structure & clarity
- Flow, pacing & readability
- Inconsistent tense & POV
- Awkward phrasing & word choice
- Passive voice & repetition
- Run-on and fragmented sentences
- Plot holes & continuity issues (on request)
What you'll receive:
- A tracked-changes file showing every edit made
- A clean, final polished copy
- An editorial feedback letter with suggestions for strengthening your work
I recommend bringing me in early the sooner I see your manuscript, the more I can help shape it as you write, saving you revision time later.
