About this gig

Phone scans and photogrammetry almost never come out printable. This fixes that.

Scans from Polycam, KIRI Engine, RealityScan or a handheld scanner arrive with open bottoms, floating fragments, doubled surfaces and holes where the camera could not see. Slicers refuse them or print them wrong.

Send me the scan. You get back one closed, printable solid.

Read this before you order, it is the whole job: a scan only contains the surfaces your camera actually saw. Closing it means building the parts it never captured, usually the underside and back. I do that, and I show you exactly where. The report includes a render with every rebuilt area highlighted, so you can see what is your scan and what is mine before you print. One pass over one side means a large rebuilt area. Properly orbited, a small one.

What you get back:

One closed body, not a swarm. Every removed fragment comes back as a separate file with its size listed.

The right way out. Repaired scans often come back inside out. I detect it, correct it, and tell you.

Your original surface untouched. No smoothing, decimation or re-meshing.

A report: what was removed, what was rebuilt, and how much of the final surface is new.

I repair 3D-printable meshes - STL, OBJ, PLY and 3MF - that will not slice. The difference is the report. You get the repaired file plus the measurements: watertight status, triangle and body counts, topology, and the bounding box on all three axes before and after, so you can check that your dimensions did not move. On a normal repair that figure is 0.00%. I repair only what is broken. If your model is deliberately open somewhere, I leave it open and tell you rather than quietly capping it. If something has to be sacrificed, the report says so.
