What data sources can you work with?
I can connect to Excel, CSV, SQL databases, Google Sheets, SharePoint, and most common APIs. If you're not sure your source will work, message me before ordering and I'll confirm.
Do I need a Power BI license to use the dashboard?
To view and interact with the dashboard, you'll need at least a free Power BI account (Power BI Desktop is free to download). If you need to share it with others in your organization, a Power BI Pro or Premium license may be required — I'm happy to advise based on your team size.
How long will it take to complete my dashboard?
Turnaround depends on the complexity and size of your data, but most standard dashboards take 1 to 3 days. I'll give you a firm timeline after reviewing your data and requirements.
Can you match our brand colors/logo?
Yes — send me your brand guidelines, logo, or color palette and I'll incorporate them into the design.
Will the dashboard update automatically once it's delivered?
Yes, if your data source supports scheduled refresh (like SQL, SharePoint, or cloud-based files). Local files (like a CSV on your desktop) will need manual refreshing unless we set up a different hosting solution.
What if I don't have clean data yet?
That's completely fine — data cleaning and transformation (using Power Query) is part of my process. Just note that particularly messy or unstructured data may require an additional service tier.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes, the amount revisions depends on the package chosen and are included to make sure the dashboard fits your needs.
Can you build DAX measures/calculations for me?
Yes — I build custom calculated columns and measures based on the specific metrics you want to track.
Will I own the dashboard file after delivery?
Yes, you'll receive full ownership of the .pbix file (or published dashboard, depending on your package) once the project is complete.
Can you help me if I already have a dashboard but it needs fixing/improving?
Absolutely — send me your existing file and a description of what's not working, and I'll assess whether it fits an existing package or needs a custom quote.
