Gig Summary
About this gig
I draw maps for books by hand with pencil and ink. Fantasy continents, city layouts, even sci-fi star charts or floor plans, if you need a map for the front of your book, I can draw it. I use isometric feature on large-scale maps, top-view for city layouts, and I can get creative on the star charts. See my gallery for ideas. Whatever your need, I can come up with a solution and a package to fit your budget.

I'm a writer and artist, and combined the two by creating a fantasy map for one of my novels. Since then, I've been creating maps for other authors for their publications. I can do full continents, single countries, or even city layouts. Check out my website: sonja hutchinson dot com for examples of my work (or to find my books).

Sonja was so incredible to work with! She is warm, professional and open to any inquiries. I had a great time bringing my ideas to life with her. It is truly wonderful to see a major part of my upcoming novel come to life! I couldn't recommend her more and I would certainly return to her in the future.

This was my fifth map with Sonja in the past year. My favorite thing about working with her is her ability to work through details to be sure she is bringing your vision to life over her own. She doesn’t get defensive or sensitive in challenging moments. She stays the course until it’s complete. She...
