A browser extension does one job well: a button that saves what you are looking at, a panel that pulls numbers off a page, a shortcut your team uses fifty times a day. I build those in JavaScript and TypeScript on Manifest V3.
You get the source in your own repository on every package, and a build you load from a folder in developer mode on the first working day after your brief, so you can click through it before anything is published. Basic covers one screen or action, Standard up to 3 with saved settings, Premium up to 5 plus Firefox and Edge.
Typical jobs: a one-click form filler for a repetitive task, a panel that talks to your own API, a background watcher that pings your team when a number changes.
I test on a clean profile and tell you which permissions it asks for and why. Premium adds the Chrome Web Store listing: text, screenshots, privacy note, ready to submit from your own account. The account stays yours; the review time is Google's.
Extensions that need someone else's login, harvest personal data, or automate a service against its own rules are the ones I turn down, before the order rather than after. Ask first and I'll tell you straight away.

Rust has been my main language since 2024: APIs, backend services, CLI tools. Will it work in Firefox as well?
Chrome is what Basic and Standard cover. Firefox and Edge come with Premium, or as an extra on any package: the core code is shared, so it is a port and a test pass rather than a rewrite. Safari I don't do — it needs an Apple toolchain I don't run, so I say no rather than take the order.
Can it stay private, just for my team?
Yes. It can live unpublished and load from a folder, or go to the Chrome Web Store as unlisted, where only people with the link can install it. I sign an NDA too, as long as it comes before the order starts.
How do I know it works before I approve?
You get a build you load yourself in developer mode and click through on the first working day after your brief: the shell and the first screen, not the finished thing. It grows daily from there, so nothing is hidden until delivery.
Which package do I need?
Message me the walkthrough before you order and I'll name the package and the number of screens. Nobody wins when a one-screen order turns out to be a five-screen job on day two: I'd rather say it before you pay.
Can you fix or update an extension I already have?
Yes. A Manifest V2 extension that Chrome stopped loading, or one that broke when a site changed, goes through the same packages: send me the source or the store link and I'll tell you which one it lands in.
What counts as a revision, and what if the page changes later?
A revision is me fixing a screen I already built. A screen that wasn't in the brief is new work: take the extra, or a new order. An extension that reads a page I don't control depends on that markup, so if the site changes later that is a new order too, and I say which parts those are up front.
Whose developer account does it get published under?
Yours, always. I write the listing text, take the screenshots and draft the privacy note; you upload them from your own account, so nothing is tied to mine. You register with Google once, and the review after that runs on their clock.
What will you refuse to build?
Permission, not ownership, is the line. Your own dashboards and accounts, and internal tools your team runs, are all fine. What I turn down is anything that gets in on a login you were not given, or works around a service's own rules.
Can I get it faster?
Yes, on Basic and Standard: the Extra-fast extra turns 4 days into 2 and 7 into 4, at double the package price. Any other extras still add their own days. Premium is not offered rushed, because five screens plus a second browser is not a week's work. Ask and I'll quote it.
Do you take calls?
No. Text only, in the order chat. On a job that runs more than a day you get a written note at the end of each one, and I answer questions in between.
