What do you need from me to get started?
I’ll need your current website URL, WordPress and hosting access, content updates if required, and any design preferences. If you’re unsure about anything, don’t worry. I will guide you through the process during a Zoom call.
Will there be any downtime during the migration process?
No. Your new WordPress site is built on a staging or temporary domain while your current site stays live. Once everything is approved, I switch the site smoothly with minimal to typically no downtime.
Do you use a plugin to migrate the site?
No. I manually rebuild your website in WordPress to match your design and functionality. This ensures a clean, fast, and optimized website instead of a broken or bloated import created by automated tools.
What happens to SEO and rankings? Do you provide SEO services?
I follow SEO best practices to help preserve your URLs, structure, and content during migration. I install and configure Rank Math or Yoast and migrate existing meta titles and descriptions, or guide you in writing them. This covers setup and guidance only, not full SEO or ranking optimization.
Can I edit my website after migration?
Yes. You will have full control of your WordPress website. You can easily edit text, images, and pages using a drag-and-drop builder. I can also provide a Zoom walkthrough to help you manage your site confidently.
Do I need to purchase any themes or plugins?
I build websites using Avada or Elementor + Crocoblock. If you choose Avada, you will need to purchase the theme license. The Elementor free version works well with Crocoblock, while Elementor Pro may need to be purchased depending on the features required. I provide Crocoblock tools when needed.
Do you provide domain or hosting?
I don’t provide domain or hosting directly. However, I can guide you in choosing the right domain and hosting and help with the setup if needed.
How do you handle revisions for the project?
Revisions include refinements to match the agreed design, layout, and functionality. Requests that change the overall design direction, add new pages, or introduce new features are considered a new scope and may require an additional order.
What does speed optimization include?
Speed optimization focuses on a clean structure, lightweight layout, and basic WordPress performance best practices to reduce unnecessary bloat. It does not guarantee specific PageSpeed or GTmetrix scores, as results depend on hosting quality, content, images, plugins, and third-party scripts.
Do you provide support after delivery?
Yes. I provide post-delivery support for 14 days to ensure everything works correctly after launch. This includes fixing migration-related issues. New changes or requests outside the original scope may require a separate order.
