I will beta read your first chapter and give honest reader feedback

Not sure if the beginning of your book is strong enough to make readers keep turning the pages?

Send me the first 1,000 words of your manuscript, and I will beta read your opening from a real reader's perspective and give you honest, concise feedback.

For $5, you will receive my First 1,000 Words Test, including:

• Hook and opening strength
• Pacing
• Character interest
• Clarity
• Reader engagement
• Overall first impression
• WOULD I KEEP READING? YES, MAYBE, or NO

I will also explain what caught my attention, where my interest dropped (if it did), anything that confused me, and the most important issue I would consider improving.

This service is ideal for authors who want a quick, affordable first impression before investing in a complete manuscript critique or full beta reading.

Please note: This Gig is for reader feedback only. It does not include proofreading, line editing, rewriting, or a detailed developmental edit.

Need feedback on your complete book? You can find my comprehensive professional beta reading service on my profile.

English and Spanish manuscripts are welcome.
