Here's a bit of information about the lever harp:

LEVER HARP / CELTIC HARP:

• The harp I record with has 22 strings, which means its range is from C3 to C#6. If you happen to have music that goes beyond this register, that's fine (most music is very adaptable and can be shifted up/down an octave to fit into the harp's register). Most things are very playable within this 3-octave range!
• Each string has a natural tuning, which can be quickly altered using a lever at the top of the string. This lever will raise the pitch by a semitone or half step. This means that the consecutive strings for C, D, E, etc., can also reach C#, D#, and so on - it just takes half a second to change the pitch. Chromatic passages (for example: C, C#, D, D# in quick succession) can therefore be awkward, but aren't impossible!
