What do you need from me to start?
I will need your manuscript in a Word document (.doc or .docx). Please also include your preferred trim size, publishing platform (if any), and any specific formatting preferences. If you are unsure, I can guide you.
Do you format for Amazon KDP and other platforms?
Yes. All formatting is prepared to meet industry standards for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark, ensuring your files are ready for print and eBook publishing.
Do you format all types of books?
I specialize in fiction books, especially romance, fantasy, and mystery/thriller. Non-fiction such as self-help, workbooks, brochures, and catalogs may not be suitable—please message me first if unsure.
Have a manuscript that doesn't fit a package?
Message me with your word count and I'll create a custom offer.
Will my book be ready to publish after delivery?
Yes, you will receive print-ready and/or eBook-ready files formatted according to your selected package. I always recommend reviewing the final files before uploading to ensure everything matches your expectations.
What if my manuscript has images, tables, or complex formatting?
Please contact me before placing an order. Books with images, tables, or heavy formatting may require additional time and an adjusted quote depending on complexity.
Can you receive source files?
All of my projects will include a source file based in Affinity Publisher's format (.afpub) for print books. For E-Books I will use Word (.docx) as a base for it so you will also recieve that too.
How will my intellectual property/copyright stay intact?
Unless specifically asked to save your work future purposes (such as if your book is a series and you'd like a cohesive spread) all files after completion will be deleted. I will not save or reupload your work by any means after everything is confirmed okay.
Can I make any changes to my book after it's done?
I will send source files for both Affinity Publisher and Word where you can later make major changes. However, if there are minor changes (such as changing authors name, covers, ISBN’s etc.) I can do that for free.
