What is Shopify Checkout Extensibility and why do I need it?
It's Shopify's new, secure system for checkout customization. checkout.liquid was shut down in 2025 and auto-migrations ran in 2026 — every checkout customization must now be rebuilt with UI Extensions and Functions.
My Shopify Scripts stopped working — can you fix them?
Yes. Scripts stopped executing June 30, 2026. I rebuild your discount, shipping and payment logic as Shopify Functions — faster, upgrade-safe and fully supported going forward
Do I need Shopify Plus?
Full checkout page customization (branding, upsells, fields) needs Plus. But Thank You & Order Status extensions, checkout Functions, and post-purchase features work on standard plans too — I'll check your store free.
Will the app be in my Partner account?
Yes — I develop and deploy the app under YOUR Shopify Partner account. You own 100% of the code and can reuse it across stores with a small install fee
Can you rebuild my old checkout.liquid features exactly?
Almost always. I'll map each old feature to its extensibility replacement in a free audit. A few legacy hacks have no equivalent — I'll tell you upfront and propose the closest modern alternative

Yes. I rebuild tracking with Customer Events + Web Pixels (GA4, Meta, TikTok CAPI etc.) so purchase events fire on the new checkout system.
What do you need from me to start?
Store URL, collaborator (Partner) access, a list of the customizations/features you want, and ideally screenshots or a short Loom of your old checkout. Deadline if urgent
How long does a full migration take?
Single feature: 1–3 days. Multi-feature upgrade: ~7 days. Full checkout engine with Functions + tracking: ~14 days, including QA on real test orders.
Do you provide support after delivery?
Yes — every gig includes 7 days of free post-delivery support. Premium includes 30 days. I also offer an extended-support extra for ongoing checkout maintenance.
What if the result doesn't match my requirements?
Unlimited revisions within scope (Premium) until it does. If something is genuinely impossible on Shopify's platform, I tell you before you order — no failed projects, no refunds drama
