FAQ
What do you need from me to get started?
To get started, please share your dataset (Excel, CSV, or SQL) along with a brief overview of the insights or visuals you’re looking for in the dashboard. If you’re not sure, I can guide you in identifying the most relevant KPIs and metrics for your business.
Can you help clean and prepare my raw data?
Yes, I provide end-to-end data cleaning, transformation, and preparation to ensure your data is accurate, well-structured, and analysis-ready.
Can you align the dashboard with my company’s branding?
Absolutely. I design dashboards to match your brand identity. You can provide your logo, color palette, or style preferences, and I’ll create a clean, professional, and consistent look.
Do you handle confidential or sensitive data securely?
Yes. I treat all data with strict confidentiality. If needed, I can also work with anonymized or sample data to maintain data privacy while developing your dashboard.
Will I be able to update or modify the dashboard later?
Yes. You will receive a fully editable Power BI (.pbix) file, allowing you to update data or make changes anytime. I can also provide guidance on how to manage and refresh the dashboard yourself.
Should I contact you before ordering?
It helps. Send a sample of your data and the questions you want the dashboard to answer, and I will confirm the package and timeline before you place the order.
Do I need a Power BI license?
Power BI Desktop is free and enough to open and edit the .pbix file. Sharing dashboards online with your team needs Power BI Pro, which Microsoft charges per user. I will tell you which you need before you order.
Can you connect to live data sources?
Yes. SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Excel on SharePoint or OneDrive, Google Sheets, APIs and more. Tell me where the data lives and I will set up refresh so the dashboard updates on its own.
Do you build the data model and DAX measures too?
Yes. A proper star schema model and tested DAX measures are part of every package, not just the visuals. That is what makes the dashboard fast and the numbers trustworthy.
