You have a working app and you want one AI feature inside it, built properly rather than bolted on and left to break.
I have shipped AI into products that real people depend on daily. Exambition, an exam preparation platform I built, runs automated question generation, auto grading and written answer explanations in production. Not a demo. Live, under load, with real users relying on the output.
What I will do:
- Add one clearly defined AI capability to the codebase you already have
- Wire it to a hosted model provider with proper error handling and fallbacks
- Keep your token spend visible and capped rather than open ended
- Hand back documented code your own developers can maintain after I leave
- Test it against messy real inputs, not just the happy path
Scope note. This gig adds a feature to an app that already exists and already runs. If the app itself needs building, that is a different conversation and a different gig of mine.

Do I need my own OpenAI or Anthropic account?
Yes, and I recommend it. The keys stay yours, the billing stays yours, and you keep control if we stop working together. I will help you set it up if you have not already.
Will you work in my existing codebase or rebuild it?
In yours. That is the point of this gig. I will match your existing patterns rather than impose mine. If the codebase turns out to be unworkable I will tell you before starting, not halfway through.
What counts as one feature?
One user facing capability with one clear input and output. Summarising a document is one feature. Summarising a document, then emailing it, then logging it to a CRM is three, and belongs in Standard or Premium.
What if the AI output is not accurate enough?
Prompt iteration is included in every tier, and Premium adds an evaluation harness so quality is measured rather than argued about. What I cannot do is promise a specific accuracy figure, because that depends on your data and the model provider.
Can you work with a model other than the big providers?
Usually yes, including open weight models running on your own infrastructure. Ask me before ordering so I can confirm rather than guess.
