Do you use any software for editing?
I trust my God-made beautiful eyes for capturing all punctuation demons and driving away typo vampires. Simply put, no, I don’t use any software for editing because I understand that you are paying me for my expertise and no pre-programmed robot can beat that.
What files will I receive upon delivery?
In each of the packages, you will receive- One MS word doc in track changes format, all changes recorded for you to review. One MS word doc with all changes accepted for you to enjoy your flawless work.
Do you accept non-fiction work?
This gig is specifically for fiction novels. But I do work with some selective non-fiction as well. Please contact me first to find out whether or not your topic is suitable for me and if so, I'll give you a custom quote.
What is the difference between copy editing and line editing?
Both- line & copy edits- focus on improving your language. However, a line edit specifically focuses on your language style (how YOU tell the story) where as a copy edit focuses on grammar & technical accuracies of syntax, punctuation etc. (how grammatically correct your story is).
Do I need line editing as well in addition to copy editing? Why?
Yes, you need both because line editing focusses on style and copyediting focusses on mechanical issues. But that's great news because I offer combo package which is much cheaper, so please contact me for custom quote.
Which genres do you accept?
I accept all genre fiction (such as mystery, crime thrillers, romance, YA, fantasy, science fiction etc.) along with specific literary fiction and cross genre novels too, so please contact for a custom quote.
