I provide in-depth developmental editing of fiction, poetry and academic manuscripts and individual pieces (stories/essays/poems) alongside general proofreading of the submitted documents.

As a writer, I understand how costly editing can be and therefore want to provide opportunities to writers and scholars who are on a budget to get their work ready for submission and/or publication. I take pride in editing the work sent my way, and genuinely enjoy the process of editing; therefore, the final product my clients receive will always be polished and professionally done, despite the budget. I also like to keep the lines of communication open during the editing process, so clients are welcome to provide input should they require more or less of something.

I have over 20 years of experience as a published author, academic, and professor of creative writing at University level. I hold a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Warwick, and have edited and shaped thousands of stories, essays and poems.
