What is the difference between a copy edit and line edit?
Copy and line editing focus on the technical and creative flow of your language. I enhance structures, improve word choices, fix clunky dialogue, and polish grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
What genres of fiction or writing to you edit?
I edit almost all creative fiction genres, including Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romance, Thrillers, Mystery/Horror, and Young Adult. I also edit creative non-fiction, personal essays, and blog posts. If your manuscript contains highly graphic content or niche academic technology, please message me first.
What file formats do you accept?
Please submit your text as a Microsoft Word (.docx) document or a Google Doc. I use the "Track Changes" feature so you can see every modification, comment, and suggestion I make. You will receive two files back: one showing tracked changes, and one clean copy with all edits accepted.
My word count is between your packages, how do I order?
You can select the package closest to your word count and use the "Additional Words" option at checkout to buy the exact amount you need. Alternatively, feel free to message me directly with your exact word count, and I will send you a custom offer.
Do you use AI to edit my work?
Absolutely not. Every single sentence is read, analyzed, and edited by me personally. AI tools often strip away the author's voice and make creative fiction sound mechanical. I want to enhance your natural voice, not replace it.
What does an additional revision include?
A revision round allows you to look over my tracked changes, make your own tweaks or rewrites based on my feedback, and send it back to me. I will then do a final pass over those changes to ensure grammar, flow, and integration look flawless.
