How we work
Written process in Fiverr messages, no calls. I confirm scope, environment and acceptance criteria in writing before I start.
Requirements: Windows 10/11, Excel desktop with macros enabled. API steps run in PowerShell 7.4+ (free).
Not included: scraping, writing to external systems, Mac or Excel for the web, hosting, API licences, or systems you are not authorized to automate.
Ownership: on delivery and full payment you own the code written for your order. Generic modules I built before (logger, data checks, API client, output comparison) stay mine, licensed for use within your solution; see FAQ.

Do we need a call? What should I send first?
No calls: everything happens in writing in Fiverr messages. Before ordering, send a short description, a synthetic or anonymized input sample, an example of the expected output, and your Windows and Excel version. No passwords, API keys or personal data.
Who owns the code?
On delivery and full payment you own the code written for your order. Exception: generic modules I built before and reuse (run logger, data-contract checker, API client, output comparison), including adaptations made for you. They stay mine; NOTICE.md lists their files.
What do "acceptance tests" mean here?
We agree on checks before I start (expected totals, example rows, bad data). ACCEPTANCE.md records expected vs actual results, PASS/FAIL, the Excel version tested and the command to re-run them. I run them with synthetic or anonymized data; you re-run them in your agreed environment.
Which Excel versions do you support?
Excel desktop for Windows with macros enabled, on Windows 10/11. I test on Windows 11 with Microsoft 365 (64-bit); other versions (perpetual, 32-bit) are agreed in the scope and checked when you re-run the acceptance tests. Not supported: Mac, Excel for the web, Google Sheets, Office Scripts.
Can you connect any API? Do you need my credentials?
Only documented, read-only APIs you are authorized to use, with an API key or bearer token. I build and test against a local mock; you store your credentials in your own environment. I never ask for passwords.
Can the report run automatically?
In the Premium package, the API download and validation step can run as a Windows scheduled task. The Excel step runs when you click the button: Microsoft does not support running Office unattended.
What counts as a revision, and what support do I get?
Revisions adjust the agreed scope (column names, formatting, wording, a listed rule); new sources, endpoints, rules, outputs or environments get a custom offer. For 14 days I fix reproducible defects at no cost; later changes to your files, the API or your environment are quoted.
What can I do with the reused generic modules?
You get a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy and modify them to run, maintain and adapt the delivered solution. You may pass them on only with the complete solution (e.g. to your client or a new owner); no reuse in unrelated projects or separate distribution.
What happens to my files?
Your sample files are used only for your order, kept outside any shared repository, and every copy I hold is deleted within 14 days of delivery (or 48 hours after a cancellation). Synthetic test data is included in the delivery.
Do you use AI tools?
AI-assisted development is part of my workflow, and you choose in the requirements: AI tools may use your samples, may use only synthetic data I build from your column layout, or no AI tools at all. Every delivery is reviewed and tested before it reaches you.
