Am I risking damage to my website?
Definitely not, I'm just working on a backup of your theme. This will be released only after sufficient tests, so there is no risk for you.
Will there be any restrictions for my store during development?
No, I'm working on a backup, so your store can continue to run normally in the meantime.
How will the promo field work?
All shopify shops are equipped with a promo code input in the checkout page by default. However, I will enhanve it to already work on your cart page. Once a customer enters his code and clicks submit, it gets validated and applied to the price if its valid.
