Do you translate every genre?
I am open for any genre, fiction and non-fiction, but I'm most experienced in fiction in the following genres: LitRPG, Urban Fantasy, Young Adult, Shifters Romance, Fairy Tales, Historical Fiction, Romantic Suspense, Steampunk Fiction, and Dark Fantasy. Please check my portfolio on Amazon.
Will I be able to publish the translation instantly?
You get the translation in a quality that allows you to publish your e-book immediately. However, the translation of your e-book is a text like any other and therefore benefits from feedback. For this reason, I recommend that you have beta readers preview the translation before publication.
Why are you offering your services at such an unbeatable price? Surely I'll get either some careless machine translation or sloppy work?
The answer is no in both cases. As indieTranslator, I see myself as part of the indie author community. Most indie authors don't get rich from their work, but they do it with love and enthusiasm. That's how it is with me, too.
Will you deliver machine-translated text?
No, I won't. Of course, I work with professional translation software, like any translator. But I actively select every single word and phrase to convey exactly what you want to say. I will always deliver a clean, manual and creative translation which respects your ideas and reflects your style.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes of course! Just drop me a message, so we can discuss your requirements and design a custom order together.
Do you translate longer texts?
I usually translate texts up to 120,000 words. Please get in touch if you want to discuss a longer project.
What kinds of document formats do you accept?
I can handle many different file formats, but I will always deliver a Microsoft Word-file to you. I see myself as a translator and not as a layouter/designer. Simple formatting is OK, but I don't offer PDF editing, for example.
