About this gig
Welcome!
My name is Stevan Dobrota, Im a professional violist, accustomed to performing in different styles, and can easily adapt to any music genre.
Ive been playing for 25 years and have more than 15 years of experience split between recording studios, live shows, music production, mixing, and many international artist collabs.
I hold a degree in viola performance from the Faculty of Arts and Ive played in classically oriented orchestras, in parallel with being in alternative bands. I did many live shows in different countries classic ones at Musikverein Golden Hall, Vienna, Kolarac University Concert Hall, Belgrade, etc, as well as dirty, underground gigs. These seemingly contrasted scenes provided me with an inspiration to go beyond genres and create a unique sound.

I’m a professionally trained musician, violist, bassist and music arranger with a background in classical music, live performance and studio work.
I create arrangements and record professional bass and viola parts for songs, artists and productions. I can work from your demo, vocals, chords or basic idea and turn it into a complete, musical arrangement.
My approach combines the discipline of classical musicianship with modern styles, grooves and production.
If you’re looking for a musician who can arrange, play and build the musical foundation of your track, feel free to message me.
