FAQ
What's the difference between your digitizing and auto-conversion software?
Auto-conversion software (like Ink/Stitch or online converters) traces the outside of your image and fills it mechanically. The result is messy, dense, and often breaks thread on a real machine. Hand digitizing means I manually place each stitch path — controlling direction, density, underlay type,
Will this embroidery file work on my Brother / Janome / Singer machine?
Yes. Tell me your machine brand in the order requirements and I'll include the exact file format it needs. Brother machines use PES, Janome uses JEF or SEW, Singer uses XXX — and all other major brands are covered. Every format is included at no extra cost.
What if my logo has very small text? Can you digitize that?
Small text is the most common digitizing challenge. Below 4mm height, most letters become unreadable in thread. I'll advise you on the minimum readable size for your design, and if needed, I'll suggest slight adjustments that keep your branding intact while making the text stitch cleanly.
My artwork is low resolution (small PNG or blurry JPG). Can you still work with it?
Often yes — send it to me before ordering. If I can clearly see the shapes and colors, I can digitize from it. If the resolution is truly too low to read the design, I'll tell you upfront rather than waste your time or money.
How many revisions do I get and what counts as a revision?
Revisions are included in every package and cover any changes to stitch direction, density, color assignment, sizing, or design adjustments. I revise until your file runs correctly and you're satisfied — that's the commitment on every order.
