Hi! I'm Freddy, from Cali, Colombia, known as the Salsa Capital of the World.
I'm a native Spanish speaker and bilingual in English. Languages have been part of my life for many years. Learning English allowed me not only to become bilingual, but also to connect with people from different countries and cultures. A year ago, I also started learning German, so I'm once again experiencing the challenges of learning a new language from scratch.
I'm not a Spanish teacher. I'm a language enthusiast who loves communication, cultural exchange, and meeting people from around the world. As a language learner myself, I understand the frustration, mistakes, doubts, and little victories that come with the process.
My goal is simple: less textbook Spanish, more real-life Spanish.
We'll focus on conversation, everyday expressions, pronunciation, and the Spanish people actually use. Grammar is important, but it doesn't have to dominate every conversation.
Make mistakes, ask questions, talk about what you enjoy, and build your confidence naturally.

Are you a professional Spanish teacher?
I’m not a traditional Spanish teacher. I’m a native Colombian Spanish speaker, bilingual in English and currently learning German. I offer a relaxed space to practice real, everyday Spanish and build confidence through conversation.
Are these lessons suitable for beginners?
Beginners are very welcome. As a language learner myself, I understand how challenging it can be to start from zero. We can use English when necessary and gradually introduce more Spanish as you become comfortable.
Will we study Spanish grammar?
Grammar can be explained when needed, but it’s not the main focus. My goal is to help you understand and use Spanish naturally through conversation, practical examples and everyday situations—not spend the whole session memorizing grammar rules.
What kind of Spanish will I practice?
You’ll practice natural, everyday Spanish with a native speaker from Cali, Colombia. We can work on common expressions, vocabulary, pronunciation and conversations you could actually have with Spanish speakers in real life.
What can we talk about during the lesson?
Almost anything! Travel, food, sports, music, work, culture, daily life or topics you enjoy. The idea is to make Spanish part of a real conversation while helping you improve your vocabulary, comprehension and confidence.
