FAQ
What is an LRC file?
Its a specialized text file that includes time tags. This is what allows platforms like Spotify and Instagram to show your lyrics in real-time as the song plays.
What is the difference between standard and advanced .LRC?
Standard .lrc provides line-by-line synchronization. Advanced (Enhanced) .lrc includes word-level timing, allowing compatible players to highlight each word as it is sung. Both are included in my Pro-Sync and Bundle plans.
How does the YouTube CC and Video Render Add-on quantity work?
The add-on is priced per song. Please ensure the add-on quantity matches the number of tracks you want for YouTube. If your package has multiple songs but you only purchase one add-on, please specifically mention which track should receive the add-on in the requirements.
I received an .ass file. What is this for?
The .ass (Advanced Substation Alpha) file is provided in the Standard and Premium plans. It contains advanced timing and formatting (word-by-word/karaoke) that you can use for video editing or high-end media players. Note: This is not for YouTube upload for that, you need the YouTube CC Add-on.
What is the .ttml file and how do I use it?
The .ttml (SRV3) file is the result of the YouTube CC Add-on. This is the "magic file" that allows your YouTube subtitles to have custom positioning and animations. Simply upload it via YouTube Studio (Desktop) in the Subtitles section.
Why don't the styled subtitles appear on the YouTube mobile app?
Currently, the YouTube mobile app does not support advanced styling and positioning for CC (Closed Captions). These features are only visible when viewing YouTube via a Desktop browser. On mobile, the subtitles will revert to the standard system style.
My song is longer than the duration listed in the plan. Can I still order?
Absolutely! If your track exceeds the 420-second (7-minute) or 1500-second limit, please contact me before purchasing. I will provide a custom offer tailored to the specific length of your project.
