After a chat about what you need from me, I'll track drums and send you an mp3 rough mix of my drums in your song. I will make changes as needed and start the revision process. Once you are completely satisfied or the revision limit is reached , I will upload the files in Wave format.

Technically, stem is a term for a group of tracks. But, what is becoming a more common use is each individual track. That's how I use the term here. For example; Stem = Each microphone Snare drum = stem Kick drum = stem Packages with stems allows for more flexibility in the mixing stage.
