What information do you need from me to start?
To get started, I'll need your vision, preferred style and color palette, any text ideas and any inspiration or reference images you have. You can share the baby's name or a placeholder. After the birth, simply send me the final details (such as birth date and time) and I will finalize the design.
Can you design the card in a specific style or theme?
Yes, absolutely! As a hand-drawn illustrator, I can create birth announcements in a wide range of styles; watercolor, modern minimalist line art, playful, elegant or classic. If you have reference images or examples you love, upload them when placing your order and I'll tailor the artwork
What if I don't have a vision or idea?
That's totally fine, I can send you some of my previous work and we can explore ideas together. I can also freestyle on a vibe that you like, such as elegant or funky.
Can I order before the baby is born?
Absolutely - most clients do! We can start the illustration and layout in advance using the name (or placeholder) and theme you've chosen. Once your little one arrives, just send me the final details (date, weight, length) and I'll update and finalize everything.
Will the design be print-ready?
Yes. All final files are delivered at 300 DPI and prepared for professional printing. You will receive a print-ready PDF, along with a JPG or PNG for your records.
Can you create a digital version for sharing online?
Yes! I can provide a web-optimized version sized for sharing via WhatsApp, email or social media as an add-on. Just let me know if you'd like to add this, it's a great way to announce the news before the printed cards arrive.
Do you offer matching items, like thank-you cards or a social media set?
Yes! Matching thank-you cards, additional card sizes and social media graphics are available as add-ons.
