About this Gig
As a one-stop-shop, I can provide most
design services you will require for product development. Please review
my other gigs as well.
Please contact me first so we can agree on
a package based on your available product requirements, specifications, and
possible asset needs (images, diagrams). Prices and lead-time vary
accordingly.
You are enlisting the service of a former systems engineer who was previously responsible for technical documentation on a
multidisciplinary engineering team; documents had to meet ISO and IEC
standards. I can transform your drafts into user or technical
documentation while simultaneously providing an analysis of your product.
A more complete specification or outline
will yield a better result. My process is as follows:
1. Contact me first with initial spec. for
a free consult.
2. After we agree on requirements,
audience, the price, and the timeline, place an order.
3. I will provide an outline / draft for your approval.
4. I will use your feedback
to fill in paragraphs.
5. We will iterate a few times to ensure
correctness and fit for audience.
Any change beyond this point is considered
a revision.

FAQ
Is the 'Proofread' package only a grammar check?
It's much more than that. I will assess the overall clarity of the document, identify duplicated ideas / information, label conflicting information, and evaluate technical correctness. I will also provide suggestions to strengthen certain ideas, grammar, or paragraphs.
Will you create technical diagrams?
If we agree that your documentation requires diagrams, I can provide either 2D CAD, isometric projections, technical diagrams, illustrations, or schematics. Please select the appropriate extras after our consult.
Can you create product renderings?
Absolutely. They will need to be ordered through a separate Gig. If we have worked together previously, I am happy to re-render my previous work in a different angle / lighting / projection for your documentation.
